High School Sweethearts Miko and Reen (Iris) finally ties the knot…

The preparations finished very, very early  and we waited for about 1 hour before we left with the bride. Surprisingly, we left at 3PM when supposedly, the wedding is at 3.  So we hurdled to Fort Bonifacio. Unfortunately, the bridal car couldn’t wait for us as convoy and we nearly didn’t make it to the bridal march… (Lesson learned: we’ll just have to leave the bride next time!)… It was a good thing that the mass was rescheduled to 4PM.

The past 2 days before the wedding, the sun was shining all out but come Attys Ivan and Kate’s special day, it wasn’t just rain, it was drenching!

On our way to Tagaytay, it didn’t seemed like it was going to fall but during the wedding preparations, the downpour would’ve crushed Ivan and Kate’s hopes of having a beautiful one but no, not them! Vanessa Vianca, “Via” to her friends, turns 18.  She found us over the internet, and being a Engineering Thomasian herself she trusted her one in a lifetime event to us.

I was at the other event, south of Manila (in Tagaytay) for a wedding. Although, the rain and a lot of circumstances made a late start of a party (at 9PM) i still wasn’t able to catch the program, arriving around 15 mins towards the end…  and had my share of clicks! So  not much photos by me on this post!

What a day it was for MCU hospital’’s  pride Dr. Rodel and  Dra. Joan to have a Blissful Caleruega Wedding!  The climate?  close to perfection! Till to the Splendido reception it was so intimate!  It was  one wishful coverage for any wedding photographer / videographer like me!

For the onsite video: It was a shame that we weren’t able to include some clips that Doc Rodel requested… wherein they drove themselves to and fro the Caleruega Ceremonies!  That’s right they didn’t have any driver!…  Well, the reception program was too tight… no games, not too many speeches, a less than a minute “couple’s First Dance”… it was a bit of a challenge… anyway… we had to pull it off and deliver!  It was a good thing that our new in-house videographer apprentice of ours – “Erian” came along… and they get a 2nd cam/videography for FREE.  Erian, actually deliver very, very well for more video clips!!! WOOT!!!

Two days before Daniel and Jolet’s wedding, the country was hit by Tropical Storm Isang… O boy, we were also praying that come Saturday 18th of July, the rain would go away…sigh, we are expecting a grand Garden Patio Victoria wedding.  Till the morning of the Wedding day, it was still pouring hard… “it’s the Lord blessing is what they say!”… and an answered prayer it was, the rain stopped by the start of the wedding!

Daniel and Jolet’s wedding was quite interesting.  At first, I thought it was a joke… we were told that the Principal sponsors alone was a pair of fifty (50), “Now how are we gonna fit that in a group pictorial?” And as expected, they all came, including a lot of known Personalities: Ilocos Province’s very own Governor Chavit Singson and Ms. Tingting Cojuangco to name a few…  Oh forgot to mention, Miss Marjorie “Jolet” Lagen (the bride), is the current Mayor of Villaviciosa, Abra.  I can’t help but address her Mayor Marjorie… but the bride,  down to earth as she is, prefers to be called Jolet! :) Sharing with The Montalbo-Lagen Nuptials! I’m back! and as promised here is Darwin and Annie’s wedding! :)

Darwin and Annie is probably one of the few witty couples I have ever met! Darwin, a masters graduate while Annie is taking up her PhD degree at the East Coast (NYC).  Both of them are US residents. One of our many overseas clients!

Witty I say?  Expect another Doogie Howser in the making!  NO pressure guys!!!

I think this would be my first time to blog a Shangri-La Makati wedding!  Incidentally, everytime we have a Makati Shang wedding, I was always assigned to the other event!

The whole team numbered 11. Why too many?  Well, it was a full service: 2 Photogs, 2 videographers, an onsite video team and our pioneering onsite album team!  It was one hell of a party!  Check out their onsite album below.

Darwin and Annie’s SDE (Same day edit) video?  Well, i gotta to say “Thanks, thanks for trusting us these tasks for your special day!”  We picked a billboard No. 1 hit:  Ben Lee’s “Love Me Like The World is Ending”… we hope they love it!

During the preps, I took off early to Darwin Penthouse condo at Sommerset Bldg – just across the street. I needed the exercise anyway!  Man, I think I lost a few pounds striding across  Ayala Avenue underpasses!    I got to Darwin’s place, and met Darwin still in his Pajamas! Haha! Actually, Darwin (the groom) was sick during that day!  Anxiety – Too excited perhaps!  Can’t blame him… after all, it was his first time to be wed! :) Joke!

Stop Piracy!!!

Hi there! I’m not sure if I should blog about this or not. But i think for our protection here it goes…

From day 1, we’ve been promising ALL our clients one of the uniqueness of our works… “We do NOT use Album Templates!” This means, we start all designs from scratch which is the primary reason why it requires us longer time to do the albums. We want all our clients to have the notion that their album is something unique, something worth to be treasured for a lifetime.

Just yesterday, I received a friendly compliment from a visitor of ours. Due to my busy schedule, I seldom check out the websites of our visitor. But by intuition, I followed their website: link and to my surprise, one of our layout design was copied! They could’ve rearranged the pages o something. Exactly pirated!!!  Darn!

I’m referring to this “original” layout of ours… Ryan and Rizza’s wedding album. which was exactly copied by the above said Studio… and not even an acknowledgment.  I wonder if I could express a “strike” or if there is any legal action for this.

What’s hard about the above issue is that our clients know that they have a 1 of kind album and would be disgusted to see an album very much similar to theirs.  Megapixels stays true to it’s promise: we do not use wedding album templates, WE WILL DO YOUR ALBUM FROM SCRATCH… it should be unique, something distinct… it’s what make it special!

We’ve had a lot of visitors and some of them asking for new designs… and this is one of the reasons why we limit from showing our works online.

We welcome visitors, and openly greet fellow artists/photographers.  You can get some of our ideas as much as we could do with yours, you can stay as long as you want and even leave a comment.  We are not saying we are the better studio but please respect our works!!!
