Prenup at Boracay / Company Outing

Posted by Ferdie Flores, MSCE, Philippine Wedding Photographer

Hi!  On August 31, 2009,  National Heroes Day, a public holiday, both our offices along Marcos Highway (main) and at our SM Marikina Branch will still be open for bookings/business.   Please bear with us though as we will be working with a skeletal force since most of our staff are in our company outing!  Actually, it was supposed to be  just a Boracay prenup shoot for Michelle Kuan and Jeremy but then everyone was excited and joined the party!!!  I’ll try to post some pics when I get back  as I missed my 2 other events during the past week!

And so, because of my very tight schedule, I may not reply to emails and queries promptly! Less YM’s for the meantime I guess… We’ll be back, Stress Free, on Tuesday Sept 1, 2009.

I hope to see you then!

Teaming up with my wife/wedding make-up artist pays off again!  As always, we arrived early for the preps which gave us a lot of time for the shoot… and test our first DSLR wedding videography by our Friend Will’s brand new 5D Mark II.  He also brought along with him his homemade glide track!… It certainly did the trick! :)

Here’s there SameDayEdit wedding video with their song of choice: Coldplay’s Viva La Vida!

It was lovely wedding prepared by Mike and Fatima! Well why not?  Their guests even made it more special… coming from everywhere  not only from far north of Manila but also coming from all around the globe!

Here’s sharing with you Mike and Fatima’s wedding:

I Missed a YM message Yesterday!

Hi! Yesterday we were experiencing DSL connection problems. I got a YM message from a friendly visitor! Coordinator I suppose! Bbut somehow I couldn’t respond to his/her YM Message. I’m just trying my luck if it was you and hopefully give me a buzz again! :)
I could not recall if it was a search for a wedding photographer or videographer.

Tony + Vivian (5 Aug 2009)

Posted by Ferdie Flores, MSCE, Philippine Wedding Photographer

Venue: Makati Shangri-La
HMU by: Sunshine Flores (we are not related, hehe) :)

Tony and Vivian actually just booked us just less than a week ago… it was a good thing we we’re still Free for the day…

Their wedding? it was suppose to be a Shangri-La Garden wedding, check out the entourage’s Hawaian outfit!  It’s because the Mix’s (the groom’s family) were from the US Pacific Islands (Micronesia, if my memory serves me right).  But unfortunely, the wedding was done indoors because of the Cory Aquino’s Burial… the sky was dark, lamenting for our another hero we’ll sorely miss.  When almost everyone in the metro was busy with Cory’s, we had a time of life celebrating the simple wedding celebration prepared by Tony and Vivian.

Vivian, the bride, she was indeed radiantly beautiful during that day!  And Tony, to my surprise, was a bit strict at first but in just little time we spent he was just perfect for Vivian!!!  His charisma? way too wacky as you’ll see in the photos in a while.

(please don’t mind the Vodka…nothing special really.
I was only playing with the hotel’s room lights while waiting for the bride’s make-up, nice colors ain’t it?)

Sharing with you some of the Tony-and Vivian’s beautiful wedding! Read the rest of this entry »

Ezi’s 18th (1 August 2009)

Posted by Ferdie Flores, MSCE, Debut Photographer Philippine

Venue: The Legend Villas, Pioneer, Mandaluyong City
Make-up: Jeng Sy-Flores, Hair by: Martini

To start to the month right here’s Eriza, “Ezi”, celebrating her 18th birthday with a bang!

Hear that guys? She’s already 18, boys are now welcome! :)

It always pays to have Jeng(my wife) as the make-up artists, as I can easily ask her to have the make-up half done to have some pictorials before the party begins. You see, most of the time, the debutant changes here gown in the middle of the party and so it would be impossible for us photographers to have a shot of her in her beautiful debut night gown. I mean, by experience, even after the party, we couldn’t ask the debutant to leave her guests, change-back/get in her gown again so that we could have a photoshoot.  In this case, we could have quick shots of the debutant and return her just enough time to finish her make-up for the wonderful night.

Sharing with some of Ezi’s debut party!… Read the rest of this entry »

Joel + Joanne (28 July 2009)

Posted by Ferdie Flores, Wedding Philippine Photographer

Preparation: Rosewood Pt., Taguig
Ceremonies: INC (Iglesia Ni Cristo) Lokal ng Ususan
Reception: Rosewood Pt. Clubhouse, Taguig

It was my first time to visit Rosewood Pointe, a DMCI residential Condominiums project hidden at the heart of Taguig City! The place is really amazing… Definitely a good find by Joel and Joanne. A perfect memorable location for Joel and Joanne’s Wedding!

Joel and Joanne just came home from insanely rich Dubai! Initially , the wedding was booked on the July 25th then moved on the 27th and finally on the 28th… I thought, the guest would be confused, but the turnout… almost a wedding close to perfection as witnessed by their closest friends. It’s a good thing the wedding landed on a weekday… we brought ourselves a FREE third Photographer and a third Videographer… “O hayan guys ha, may regalo kaming dala! Hehe!

Their onsite? it took me 2 hours in the early morning to find their song… browsing through our collection… and finally chose this! A Rascal Flatts’ Favorite. The challenging part of the wedding?  The weather!!! Watch their beautiful onsite here.

PNP Dir/General German Doria Hangs His Uniform at 56! (31 July 2009)

posted by Ferdie Flores, Philippine wedding Photographer

Venue: Camp Crame Grounds, EDSA, Philippines

Image on the video wall that was displaced the whole night by others

PNP Director / General German Barut Doria shares with his friends how he spent his last 38 years with PNP. His  speech and his life story, a strong person from humble beginnings…. very inspiring!  No wonder he has a lot of friends.   More than 500 guests was the count during his 56th birthday party.

Yup, he also celebrated his 56th birthday together with his early retirement!  What a sweet gift for oneself and for his family!

I’m so excited to share with you General Doria’s onsite video… it’s the swiftest video we’ve ever done.  At first we were a bit hesitant to take the job as the requirement was to show it before the Birthday party starts. We got it prepared 30 mins. immediately after his speech.  It’s a thrilling onsite video indeed that I myself saw the General teared with joy… Job delivered sir!

PDir Gen German Doria Retirement SDE from Ferdie Flores on Vimeo.

I hope you enjoyed the movie… but you haven’t seen nothing yet… Yes, I am a wedding photographer but I think we over did this wedding shoot. hehe!  Sharing with you some beautiful snap shots from General Doria’s celebration of his last day as PNP director.  Enjoy!… Read the rest of this entry »
