Quite recently, we’ve been getting a lot of inquiries and bookings. And to prepare ourselves for the gig, I think it would be best to invite new members to join the team as early as now. We’ll be looking for the following:
1. video editors (fresh grads and individuals willing to be trained are also welcomed)
2. videographers (willing to be trained to our style)
3. Accountants

Have you ever thought how Ferdie and I became a couple? Hey, just in case you are interested, Ferdie and I were invited to share our love story at the TV program, The Sweet Life. Hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez and Wilma Doesn’t, the show talks about different stories of life, tips on households, special talents and for this month, they are featuring different love stories of couples from all walks of life. Special thanks to my friend Loi for making this happen. This is actually my 3rd TV appearance ( AS IF!! ). First was when we were interviewed in RPN 9 regarding Megapixels, how we started the business and everything related to photography. Next was also in QTV 11 when I was one of the makeup artist of a reality show. O well, I hope i can watch the episode this time. The Sweet Life is shown Mon-Fri 5pm at QTV 11 or at Channel 24 at Sky Cable. Expect our episode in a week or two.

Last January 11, 2010 was our 8th Anniversary as husband and wife. We had a very hectic December and January schedule and so i thought of giving ourselves a nice and relaxing vacation in one of the places that we’ve never been to. Ferdie’s birthday also falls on the 22nd of January and so it was a double celebration. We wouldn’t miss to take photos of ourselves and of the course the beautiful and enchanting island where we stayed. We were fully armed with the things that we need to take our post-nup shots… we brought along my newly acquired Canon 500d, flash for the camera, a remote trigger, tripod and of course our swim wears.
Here’s a sample of our do it yourself photo shoot in Palawan: (most of the shots are remote triggered)
Check this out, Ferdie bought a new toy YoungNuo’s Wireless Remote Flash Trigger + Camera trigger, it’s a 2-in-1 product! The remote transmitter can be used as the trigger of the camera as well! He bought it real cheap. It even remotely focuses the camera before taking the shot! It looks durable, and comes with 16channels. At Php1800 i think it’s a steal!

We are megapixels! We consider ourselves as a “still” small studio with a small number of hands! We are full for 2009 and anticipating 2010 would be even richer! So then, were looking into new breeds to join our band!
We’ll be looking for Graphic Artist and Video Editors. What will they be doing? Well it’ll sure be lot of things:
Creative/Graphics Editors - will primarily be doing layouts guided to my style of work! OR it can be a mix of yours and mine! As part of the creative team, you’ll also be given a chance to learn and even do photography with me! In house trainings, studio workshops, actual weddings would be our playground. Studio routine would be also be included, such as Backing up media, preparation for the next shoot, etc.
Video editors – would also do lots of work including rough cutting or prepping footages, shooting with us on at weddings/corporate shoots, assisting with gear and lighting setups on other shoots. You’ll also be given the chance to learn and shoot videography with us!
We will be interviewing as soon as tomorrow and look for somebody to start soon. We would prefer somebody looking for more of a career more than just an OJT. Work would be at our Main Office along Marcos Highway (Just past Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall/Robinson’s Metro East)
We would be looking for self-directed people, team player, disciplined, passionate about art, photography, shoots, filming, weddings.

We usually have long lines, people waiting for several hours just to avail of our free trial makeup during wedding expos and we have been getting calls when our next bridal fair is scheduled. In line with this, we would like to announce that Carlan, I and the new member of the team, Gladys, would be offering a free trial makeup on OCTOBER 16,17,18, 2009 at our makeup studio. Please take note that you need to call our office for appointment since we will only be accepting a limited slot for the free trial makeup. You need to present receipts from other wedding suppliers as proof that you are getting married soon.
