It’s my first time at Moon Garden, Tagaytay City. Located near SVD (Divine Word Seminary).

Philippe and Christine chose to have an intimate celebration with guests  numbering less than 50!  It was solemn and yet everybody had so much fun!

To be honest, it was quite hard to shoot this wedding(at Moon Garden). Having the couple situated under the  nipa hut and in the middle of a pond there was not too much space to move at… but to my surprise, we came out with a lot of beautiful images! Actually, Jeng (who selected the images) chose more than a hundred pictures to blog but I have a bandwidth to watch.

I was NOT in this shoot. I was at Orville and Che’s Fernwood wedding so no shots by me on this post!

I heard that something went wrong during the ceremonies, everyone got to the church earlier than scheduled, however, the chapel’s wall clock was advanced… eventually tripped the wire on the Parish Priest! To everyone’’s surprise, the whole entourage were asked and couldn’t help themselves but to have themselves seated, not doing the entourage march!!! Anyway, everything was forgotten, and it seemed that the Casa Blanca wedding reception was triple the Fun!

What a foggy day it was at Tagaytay City. On our way to Taal Vista Hotel , it was literally Zero visibility and so it took us longer than usual to get there. Upon arrival, we headed for the brand new Taal Vista Hotel (New Wing)

g), it was another first for me!… The room got bigger and got even better…

Vanessa, despite the gloomy weather, was totally glowing during that day! and so was Jeremy!

I met Jeremy and Vanessa during our Macau stint. We had their prenup at The Venetian! I found the shoot too short though as we met quite late in the evening. So here making up during their wedding, I hope they’ll love it even more:

The past 2 days before the wedding, the sun was shining all out but come Attys Ivan and Kate’s special day, it wasn’t just rain, it was drenching!

On our way to Tagaytay, it didn’t seemed like it was going to fall but during the wedding preparations, the downpour would’ve crushed Ivan and Kate’s hopes of having a beautiful one but no, not them! What a day it was for MCU hospital’’s  pride Dr. Rodel and  Dra. Joan to have a Blissful Caleruega Wedding!  The climate?  close to perfection! Till to the Splendido reception it was so intimate!  It was  one wishful coverage for any wedding photographer / videographer like me!

For the onsite video: It was a shame that we weren’t able to include some clips that Doc Rodel requested… wherein they drove themselves to and fro the Caleruega Ceremonies!  That’s right they didn’t have any driver!…  Well, the reception program was too tight… no games, not too many speeches, a less than a minute “couple’s First Dance”… it was a bit of a challenge… anyway… we had to pull it off and deliver!  It was a good thing that our new in-house videographer apprentice of ours – “Erian” came along… and they get a 2nd cam/videography for FREE.  Erian, actually deliver very, very well for more video clips!!! WOOT!!!

Here’s their onsite SDE (same day edit) video for a start! :) (this was supposedly a 1 videocam setup)

Ton + Lea: A Chapel on the Hill Wedding (27 June 2009)

It was my first time to be in Summit Ridge, Tagaytay.  It’s the new building in front of Taal Vista which opened just recently last 25th of June. Ton and Lea had a top floor room of the hotel. Awesome-awesome view of the Lake by the way! It’s a perfect place to start and celebrate!!!

The downside though, I find the room to0 small but Ton and Lea didn’t mind at all!  During the preparations, Lea, was literally expressing the tension but personally, i can’t see in front of the lens… She looked so cheerful and stressfree actually!

It’s a grand wedding they’ve prepared…  It’s a Wedding at the “Chapel on the Hill”, and a Gathering at “Splendido”.  It was an honor working side by side with one of the finest videographers in town Bong with his “Threelogy Video” team.  Their onsite video? it brought the house down!  It was definitely something… their friends shouldn’t have missed!

Ryan + Rachelle (A Caleruega Wedding) (28 March 2009)

Remember Marvin and Odessa?  Our Christ the King Wedding just over a month ago… here’s their friend Ryan with Rachelle tying the knot!

Ryan, who was residing here in Manila, booked us close to a year ago! I think he did all the work since Rachelle was residing in San Francisco, USA!  If my memory serves me right, they were longtime college sweethearts who were one of those that went through long distance relationship!  Well, If you meet Rachelle, who wouldn’t fall in love!!!  Ryan and Rachelle were meant for each other ! They were both simple, funny and insanely in in love with each other!

” There are those days that things go wrong” Allow me to share something during the day!  During the preparation shoot, all was well, the make-up artists started early, everything was going smoothly!  The hotel room was well lighted so we did away without any studio lights.  But come 2 hours before the ceremonies, when I went to start and shoot at Ryan room … one of the studio light bulbs got busted.  Good thing, we always had spares, and after 5 minutes, it got busted as well! So we had rush to the nearest supplier to get ourselves some light otherwise it’ll be too dark at the church.

Next bump was during the ceremonies! Mafie started working early with the onsite wedding video.  We were expected to make use of something “instrumental”, something slow, solemn… something  “dramatic”!  But then during the course of the wedding rights, Ryan and Rachelle weren’t handed any microphones… and so we immediately changed the drawing board and started the Same day edit video anew!  We ended up having more like a teaser!  We hope Ryan and Rachelle liked it! :)
