Jolluck+Aileen (Dec 8, 2009) – Chapel On the Hill Tagaytay Wedding

Posted by Ferdie Flores, MSCE, Philippine Wedding Photographer

Preparation: Casa Blanca, Tagaytay City
Ceremonies: Chapel on the Hill, Don Bosco, Alfonso, Cavite
Reception: Casa Blanca, Tagaytay City

I was NOT in this shoot. I was at Orville and Che’s Fernwood wedding so no shots by me on this post!

I heard that something went wrong during the ceremonies, everyone got to the church earlier than scheduled, however, the chapel’s wall clock was advanced… eventually tripped the wire on the Parish Priest! To everyone’’s surprise, the whole entourage were asked and couldn’t help themselves but to have themselves seated, not doing the entourage march!!! Anyway, everything was forgotten, and it seemed that the Casa Blanca wedding reception was triple the Fun!

Here is sharing with you Jolluck and Aileen’s Beautiful Tagaytay wedding! cheers to the new bride and groom!

The past 2 days before the wedding, the sun was shining all out but come Attys Ivan and Kate’s special day, it wasn’t just rain, it was drenching!

On our way to Tagaytay, it didn’t seemed like it was going to fall but during the wedding preparations, the downpour would’ve crushed Ivan and Kate’s hopes of having a beautiful one but no, not them! They were still so relaxed, glowing, enjoying every bit of the moment!… Well, why not!  If it’s a Tagaytay rainy wedding, It’s like having a “wedding up in the clouds! Read the rest of this entry »

Rodel + Joan (24 July, 2009) A Caleruega Wedding

Posted by Ferdie Flores, MSCE, Philippine Wedding Photographer

Preparation:  Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay
Ceremonies: Chapel of Transfiguration (Caleruega Chapel)
Reception:  Splendido, Alfonso, Cavite
Events Coordination: Loi Villarama Events Management
HMU: Xeng Zulueta
Lights and Sounds: Sound Level

What a day it was for MCU hospital’’s  pride Dr. Rodel and  Dra. Joan to have a Blissful Caleruega Wedding!  The climate?  close to perfection! Till to the Splendido reception it was so intimate!  It was  one wishful coverage for any wedding photographer / videographer like me!

For the onsite video: It was a shame that we weren’t able to include some clips that Doc Rodel requested… wherein they drove themselves to and fro the Caleruega Ceremonies!  That’s right they didn’t have any driver!…  Well, the reception program was too tight… no games, not too many speeches, a less than a minute “couple’s First Dance”… it was a bit of a challenge… anyway… we had to pull it off and deliver!  It was a good thing that our new in-house videographer apprentice of ours – “Erian” came along… and they get a 2nd cam/videography for FREE.  Erian, actually deliver very, very well for more video clips!!! WOOT!!!

Here’s their onsite SDE (same day edit) video for a start! :) (this was supposedly a 1 videocam setup)

Sorry po ulit Doc ha!!! To make it up… here’s sharing with you more photos/from their beautiful Tagaytay Wedding!

Ton + Lea: A Chapel on the Hill Wedding (27 June 2009)

Posted by Ferdie Flores, MSCE, Philippine Wedding Photographer

Preparation: Summit Ridge, Tagaytay
Ceremonies: Chapel on the Hill
Reception: Splendido, Alfonso
Photos by: Megapixels Digital Studio
Videos by: Threelogy video
Coordination: Weddings by Victoria

It was my first time to be in Summit Ridge, Tagaytay.  It’s the new building in front of Taal Vista which opened just recently last 25th of June. Ton and Lea had a top floor room of the hotel. Awesome-awesome view of the Lake by the way! It’s a perfect place to start and celebrate!!!

The downside though, I find the room to0 small but Ton and Lea didn’t mind at all!  During the preparations, Lea, was literally expressing the tension but personally, i can’t see in front of the lens… She looked so cheerful and stressfree actually!

It’s a grand wedding they’ve prepared…  It’s a Wedding at the “Chapel on the Hill”, and a Gathering at “Splendido”.  It was an honor working side by side with one of the finest videographers in town Bong with his “Threelogy Video” team.  Their onsite video? it brought the house down!  It was definitely something… their friends shouldn’t have missed!

Here’s sharing with Ton and Lea’s beautiful Tagaytay wedding:

A day with my Canon 50mm F1.8 lens at Tagaytay (Fritz+Joan’s Caleruega Wedding)

Posted by: Ferdie Flores, Wedding Photographer Philippines

I went back to Tagaytay today but this time returning the favor, I drove and assisted my wife Jeng… She’ll be doing the make-up for the about-to-be-weds Fritz and Joan. This is a Non-megapixels studio coverage.

It was actually a rest day for me.  While waiting for the make-over, I spent quality time with daughter “Angel” while she went horseback riding.

I brought with me my new Canon 50mm F1.8 lens!  All shots in this post are test shots and for such sharp  images, it’s really a bargain!  I bought it at a whoopy Php 3800 only!  I’d definitely recommend any Canon Camera fan to sneak it in their bag!

During the make-up break (we had to stay in Tagaytay for Jengs’ retouch services before and after the ceremonies)  we headed to  “Hawaian B-B-Q,  The Boutique-Bed and Breakfast“… men, they really serve succulent food!  Here’s Jeng’s fav: Volcanic Onion Rings!

Sherwin+Ann

:) Check this out!

It was a 2 wedding Saturday weekend… I was at the other event though (Shiva & Anna’s)and here the things:

  1. Both wedding preparations were held at the Diamond Hotel
  2. Both brides had nicknames “Ann”
  3. …and the grooms… Sherwin whilst the other is Shiva!

… Haha! What coincidences!!!

*** Sherwin + Ann Wedding ***

I would’ve loved to shoot for this wedding, as it was our first St. Alphonsus Mary de Laguori Parish wedding, Its the newly renovated church at Magallanes. The Skylight top of which you’ll see when you drive alongSLEX Skyway.

So no shots by me on this site… anyway, the 2nd team didn’t deliver anything less! :)

Here’s a shot of Ann’s intricately designed gown – beautiful!

Another Tagaytay Wedding (Omar + Opal)

Oh men! Another freezing Tagaytay Wedding!!!… and a little drizzle here and there made it even more challenging!!!

Indeed at was a Friday (non-weekend) Wedding, but we were surprised by the full-packed Chapel on the Hill crowd that swarmed Omar and Opal’s celebration! I was wondering then… how much more guests would there be at the reception?

And the reception… was truly grand! Unfortunately, it was drizzling outside… a blessing in disguise: everyone preferred to stay inside, squeezing themselves, elbow to elbow with each other. Everyone stayed enjoying the warmth of the party!

Here’s their onsite video.

Jeff + Josie

Alas! It’s December, the wedding Season. It was the start of our streak of December weddings. We came home from 3 weddings at the start of December, giving ourselves only 30 minutes of sleep, then drove to cold Tagaytay for Jeff and Josie’s wedding! Woohooo!

We arrived too early… seemed like everyone, even the guards, were still asleep

… so we drove back at the Rotonda… “Starbucks” anyone?

Little did we know, that Josie, punctual as always, started the preps without us! :o ) “A lot of catching we did!!!”

and this shot, still not by by Allan (main-… he is more than 4 feet ya know!) besides, Josie…is towering high dude! she’s even taller than me!!! c”,)

… it was such a perfect day, blue skies… and The Calaruega Chapel… ever faithful as always.

Unfortunately, the Reception (Sonya’s Garden) was too bright, it was hopeless to play their AVP flashback photos, Jeff and Josie would have been so proud!!! So here it is (Photo AVP flashback)!

…even Karlo’s, their soon to be brother-in-law, prepared a surprise AVP wasn’ t played. :o (

Well it was a fun-fun party anyway!!! :o )

to Jeff and Josie: watch your heads! “Tatangkad kasi eh!” Hehe! Congratulations and Best Wishes!
